Bringing it Home - The Oregon Truffle Festival
Seasonal Events In Dundee, Oregon
If you’re looking for Mcminnville, Oregon events, a deliciously fun event in January near Black Walnut Inn & Vineyard is the Oregon Truffle Festival! This year, the Bringing it Home event in Newberg & Yamhill is January 22 – 24. Newberg is about a five-minute drive from Dundee, Oregon.
The Oregon Truffle Festival is in its 11th year of bringing the flavors of the Oregon truffle front and center as culinary experts work with both black and white truffles to indulge the senses and complement the spirited flavors of Oregon wine, beer, and spirits.
Bringing it Home tickets include a Friday welcome reception and the evening showcase: Shaved & Infused. Then, on Saturday guests will enjoy a morning breakfast followed by a hands-on cooking class and luncheon with Argyle Winery. After spending some time in the kitchen, it’s off to the Oregon Olive Mill for a tour and tasting. On Sunday, it’s time for the Newberg Fresh Truffle Marketplace where there’ll be chef demonstrations and take-home recipes, food samples, wine tasting, a truffle dog demonstration, and a market to purchase Oregon truffles. Tickets for Bringing it Home are $450.
Or, there is the option to purchase the Terroir of Truffles tickets, which is similar to the Bringing it Home event but on Saturday the experience is not the cooking classes but an authentic truffle hunt with truffle dogs. After the hunt, there’s a winery luncheon. This option is $500.
Guests may also add on the Black & White Dinner Series to the Saturday night agenda where participating restaurants create a three to five-course prix fixe menu featuring black and white truffles. The restaurants will also include wine or beer pairings to accompany the selected dishes.
